By 2025, the Government of Ghana will reduce all forms of malnutrition; including the prevalence of stunting in children under age five from 21.4% in 2017 to 14%, childhood wasting to less than 5% (7.1% wasting in 2017), overweight from 41.0% in 2016 to 17% and obesity 16.6% in 2016- to 7% in women aged 18 years and older. iron deficiency (ID) from 21.5% in 2017 to 15% and iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) from 12.2% in 2017 to 8% in children under 5 years of age and reduce anaemia in women in reproductive age from 21% in 2018 to 14%.
