Commitments Tracking
Component I – Commitment Tracking: Tracking and monitoring the implementation of Ghana’s Commitments to transforming its food systems. This comprises commitments pledged at the United Nations Food Systems Summit, September 2021, and a consolidated and an updated set of 17 commitments submitted to the Nutrition for Growth Summit in Tokyo, December 2021.

Component 2 - Cost-benefit analysis
- From Ghana´s suite of policies, including front-of-package food labelling, restrictions on marketing unhealthy food options, as well as fiscal policies, estimate the returns to implementing a national food related food fiscal policy.
- Current Focus
- The value of implementing a national food related food policy relative to the cost associated with its implementation,
- The fiscal policy will comprise taxes on unhealthy food options while providing subsidies on healthier options.
